Stow on the Wold Patios
Stow on the Wold Patios
Stow on the Wold and the surrounding Cotswold area is where we do all our work. We lay patios, build walls, put up fencing, and fit new lawns for homeowners who want their outdoor space to actually work for them.
Properly done. No shortcuts.
Here is what we cover:
- Porcelain tiled patios
- Indian sandstone and limestone slabbing
- Concrete flagstone installations
- Garden paving and paths
- New walling and timber fencing
- Artificial grass and turfed lawns
We source a lot of our stone and aggregate through Talasey, who supply right across Warwickshire and the Cotswolds, so the material quality is consistent. One detail we take real pride in is mitre cut external corner detailing on porcelain and stone work. It makes a visible difference to the finished edge and it is something a lot of contractors skip.
You will notice the difference straight away.
Do I need planning permission or building regs?
Most standard patio installations do not need planning permission, and building regulations sign-off is not usually required either. However, if your patio covers more than five square metres and does not use a permeable surface, you may need permitted development approval. We can talk you through what applies to your specific job before any work starts, so there are no surprises.
We cover Stow on the Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, Moreton-in-Marsh, Chipping Norton, and the surrounding villages. The Cotswolds ground conditions can be tricky, with frost heave and uneven sub-bases being common issues here, and we account for that in how we prep and lay every job.
