We build things properly.

We’re a building contractor based in Runcorn, Cheshire, and we’ve been doing this long enough to know what good work actually looks like. From groundworks and foundations right through to the finished structure, we handle the full scope.

What we take on

Residential building covers a wide range, and we work across all of it. Extensions alone come in more forms than most people realise. Here’s what’s available:

We also carry out loft conversions, which are one of the most cost-effective ways to add a proper bedroom or workspace without touching the footprint of the house. Right, on a good terrace or semi, a loft conversion can add serious value and usable floor area in one move.

Structural and ground-level work

Foundations are where most problems start. We excavate, install drainage, and lay concrete strip or raft foundations to specification. Cavity wall construction uses a 100mm block inner leaf, full-fill mineral wool insulation, and a brick outer skin tied with stainless helical wall ties. We don’t cut corners at ground level because we know what happens when someone else did.

Local knowledge matters

We know the ground conditions around here. The subsoil near Frodsham, the clay pockets around Halton Castle, the older housing stock in and around Widnes, all of it affects how we plan a job. Soil type changes your foundation depth. Local building control knows us by name.
