We lay patios for a living, and we take it seriously.

What do we actually do?

Most of our work is new patio installations across Ingatestone, Essex and the surrounding area. We work with porcelain tiles, Indian sandstone, concrete flagstones and block paving. The ground conditions here, estuarine silt in places, mean the sub-base work matters as much as the surface finish.

Beyond the patio surface itself, we also handle fencing, garden walling, turfed lawns and artificial grass. It keeps the whole job tidy, one crew, one point of contact.

How do we approach the work?

Every site gets assessed properly before anything is quoted. Is the drainage going to cause problems in two winters’ time? That question shapes every decision we make on a job. We check falls, we check what’s underneath, and we don’t rush the groundworks just to get to the part that looks good.

We also talk to customers about routine maintenance, because a patio that isn’t looked after will let you down eventually, however well it was laid. Sealing the right stone at the right time makes a real difference to how long the finish holds.

Where do we work?

We’re based in Ingatestone, Essex and we cover the local area. A fair bit of our work comes through word of mouth in the neighbourhood, which suits us fine. (Honestly, that’s the only marketing that actually matters to us.)
