Great Wakering Patios

Great Wakering Patios

A bit about how we work

A customer once told me her old patio had looked tired since 2009.

That landed with me. A garden you stop looking at is a garden you stop using, and that feels like a waste. We set out to change exactly that for people across the SS3 area and beyond.

What we install and lay

We work with a good range of materials, so you get something that actually suits your garden rather than whatever’s easiest to shift:

  • Indian sandstone and natural stone paving
  • Porcelain tiles, which handle the Essex frost better than people expect
  • Concrete flagstones for a clean, practical finish
  • Block paving for driveways and garden paths
  • Artificial grass and roll-on turf lawns
  • Timber fencing and garden walling

The details we don’t skip

One thing I’d mention, because it comes up more than you’d think, is low-voltage lighting integrated into steps. It’s a small thing to plan in at the install stage and a much bigger job to retrofit later, so we always raise it early.

Drainage matters too, especially on the clay ground you get near Great Wakering. We check falls properly before a single slab goes down (I know that sounds obvious, but you’d be surprised how often it’s skipped by others).

Where we work

We’re based in Great Wakering, so we know this corner of Essex well. Not far from St Nicholas Church, we serve customers throughout Southend-on-Sea, Rochford, Shoeburyness and the surrounding villages. Keeping things local means we’re easier to reach and a bit more accountable for the work we leave behind.

However far you are from us, if you’re in Essex, it’s worth a call.

Give us a ring on 0800 696 5034 and we can talk through what you have in mind. You’re welcome to See more from Great Wakering Patios, right here in Great Wakering, Essex.
