We are Cork Builders, and we work across Cork City on residential and commercial projects of all sizes. From foundations to the finished render, we handle the full build. If it involves blockwork, structure, or getting a space to do something useful, we are the people to call.

Loft conversions, a word from us

Loft conversions come up constantly in our work. A lot of homeowners don’t realise how much usable floor area sits above them. We assess the ridge height, the existing joist capacity, and the roof structure before anything else. Right, if the bones are there, a loft conversion is often the most cost-effective way to add a bedroom or a proper workspace.

Where we work

We are based in Cork City and work regularly out to Blarney, Douglas, and Ballincollig. So whether you are close to the city centre or a bit further out, we are familiar with the ground conditions and the build types in those areas.

How we build

We use concrete block, cavity wall construction, and poured concrete foundations as standard. Every project gets a proper structural assessment first. We do not cut corners on prep work.

Short sentences matter here. Good prep prevents problems. We have seen what rushed groundwork costs. It costs time and money. We would rather do it once.
