What we do

From the sub-base up, driveway installation is the core of what Tarvin Driveways does, and we bring the same level of technical care to every surface we lay. Working across the CH3 postcode and out towards Chester, Frodsham, and the villages around Kelsall, we handle the full scope of hard-surfacing work.

Our surfacing options for driveways and patios include:

• Block paving, including hydraulically pressed concrete and clay brick
• Resin bound gravel, laid to SuDS-compliant falls
• Tarmac and asphalt, from base course through to wearing course
• Pattern imprinted concrete
• Loose and self-binding gravel

Repairs and resurfacing

Not every job is a full replacement. Pothole patching, crack repairs, and resin or tarmac overlays are work we carry out regularly, and we’re honest about which approach actually suits the existing base. There’s no point resurfacing over a failed sub-base (and we see that mistake made by others more often than we’d like).

Drainage and kerbing

Drainage is where a lot of driveways go wrong years down the line. We install ACO drainage channels across drive entrances as standard where surface water run-off is a concern, along with full soakaway systems and linear channel drainage to compliant gradients. Kerbing and edging are laid to finished line and level before any surface course goes down.

Landscaping and boundaries

Beyond hard surfaces, we also take on:

• Lawn installation, turf and seed
• Walling, including block, brick, and natural stone
• Timber and composite fencing
• Pathways and stepped access
