One job we come back to regularly is re-laying a sunken section of block paving. It looks straightforward from the outside, it is not. You need to pull the blocks, re-profile the sub-base, compact properly, and re-lay to falls that actually drain. Do it right once, and it stays right.

Materials and surfaces

We work across the full range of surfacing materials. Resin bound aggregate, for instance, is a SuDS-compliant permeable surface, which matters now that permitted development rules tightened up on non-permeable front drives.

For patios we use the same quality approach. Natural stone, concrete pavers, porcelain slabs, we fit them all, the choice is yours depending on your budget and what suits the space.

Where we work

We cover Chester, Cheshire and the surrounding areas. That takes in neighbourhoods out towards Handbridge, Hoole, and further out towards Christleton and the villages along the Dee Valley. Most of our work comes from local recommendations.

Drainage and groundworks

Good drainage is not an afterthought for us. A poorly drained driveway fails early, it costs you more in the long run. We install channel drains, soakaways, and proper kerb edging as part of the job.
