How it started

A neighbour once asked me to “just tidy up the front a bit.” Six weeks later we’d rebuilt the foundations entirely.

That’s the honest truth of this trade. What looks straightforward rarely is, and I’ve learned over the years that doing things properly from the ground up is the only way I can stand over my work.

What we do

We’re a building contractor based in Cuddington, Cheshire, covering everything from a new garage or loft conversion to full structural alterations and new builds. We handle the groundworks, the brickwork, the plastering, and everything in between.

Where we work

Most of our jobs are close to home. We work regularly around Norley, Sandiway, and out towards Delamere Forest, where a lot of the older properties need careful handling. Soil conditions, drainage, ageing foundations (I’ve pulled up some surprises over the years, I won’t pretend otherwise), all of that shapes how we plan each job before a single block goes down.

How we work

We use solid materials and straightforward methods. I don’t oversell a job, and I won’t quote for work a property doesn’t need. However, when the scope does grow once we’re in, I’ll always tell you before we move forward, not after.

Every job gets the same attention whether it’s a small repair or a full extension, because my name and my postcode are on every bit of work we do. That matters to me.
