A bit about who we are

A neighbour once asked me why his new patio looked like a swimming pool after rain. It was the drainage, and nobody had told him before the job started. That kind of thing is exactly why I think the conversation before we lift a single slab matters as much as the work itself.

We are based right here in Blackrock, and most of our work stays local, covering the southside out as far as Dún Laoghaire and back in towards Stillorgan. We know these gardens, the slopes, the clay soil, the way water moves on a wet Tuesday in November.

How we work

I have laid sandstone in gardens a short walk from the Church of the Assumption in Booterstown, and the finish on those jobs still makes me proud when I drive past. One thing I always bring up with customers is low-voltage lighting integrated into steps, because it is one of those details that sounds small but completely changes how a garden feels after dark.

We do renovations as often as new builds, honestly (I sometimes think the renovation jobs are harder, but I enjoy the puzzle of them). Older patios often need the base work redone properly before anything goes on top.
