Driveways that actually need doing

Cracked surface. Standing water. A driveway that’s been patched one too many times and now looks worse than before. We see it constantly around Wirral and across Cheshire, and it’s nearly always fixable without tearing everything out and starting again.

What we install and repair

Most of what we do falls into one of these:

One job we did last summer near Thornton Hough village involved laying a sandstone patio off the back of the drive. The customer had the tarmac sorted first, then we ran the sandstone straight off it with a matching kerb line. It works well when the materials are chosen to sit together rather than fight each other.

Drainage and groundworks

We sort drainage and soakaways properly before we lay anything. A surface that looks good on day one but pools water by autumn is a failure. Kerbing and edging are part of every job we price, not an afterthought.

But the materials side is where people sometimes underestimate the choice in front of them. Resin bound alone comes in more aggregate blends than most people realise when they first ring us.
