Tipperary Insulation
What we do
: Insulation, done properly, from the ground up.
We cover the full range of residential insulation work across County Tipperary. Whether it is a 1960s semi in Clonmel or an older farmhouse out past the Rock of Cashel, heat loss is heat loss, and we know how to stop it. Every job starts with a proper look at what is actually happening in the building.
Residential insulation in Ireland covers more ground than most people realise. Here is what we install and upgrade:
- External wall insulation (EWI)
- Cavity wall insulation
- Pumped bead cavity wall insulation
- Internal wall insulation and dry lining
- Attic and loft insulation
- Open cell and closed cell spray foam insulation
- Roof and rafter insulation
- Underfloor and floor insulation
- Garage and outbuilding insulation
- Pipe lagging and hot water tank insulation
- Draught proofing and air sealing
Pumped cavity wall insulation
I get called out a lot for pumped cavity wall insulation on houses built between the seventies and nineties. The cavity is there, it is just empty, and pumping it with EPS bead is one of the most cost-effective upgrades you can make. The thermal transmittance through an unfilled cavity wall can be as high as 1.0 W/m²K, pumping it down significantly with bead makes a real difference on your heating bills.
Grants and BER
We work with SEAI grants, so the cost to you is often far lower than people expect. A better BER rating matters if you are selling or renting too, it is not just about comfort, it is about the value of your home.
