Westmeath Insulation
What We Do
Solid insulation work. That is where we start and where we stay. At Westmeath Insulation, we cover the full range of insulation installations for homes and commercial buildings across County Westmeath and the surrounding areas, including out towards Athlone, Mullingar, and the Lough Ree shoreline.
Our Services
We work across every part of the building envelope, from ground level right up to the roof. Here is what we cover:
- External wall insulation (EWI) with silicone or acrylic render finishes
- Cavity wall insulation and pumped bead cavity wall insulation
- Attic and loft insulation, including attic insulation top-up for homes that already have a partial layer
- Open cell and closed cell spray foam insulation
- Roof and rafter insulation for converted or convertible attic spaces
- Internal wall insulation and dry lining
- Underfloor and floor insulation
- Garage and outbuilding insulation
- Pipe lagging and hot water tank insulation
- Draught proofing and air sealing
Materials and Standards
We use mineral wool, rigid PIR boards, EPS bead, and two-component spray foam systems depending on what the substrate and the U-value target actually call for. Getting the right material into the right location matters more than any single product preference.
Properly done.
Grants and BER
We assist homeowners through the SEAI grant process and can advise on what works are likely to move your BER rating in a meaningful way. A poorly detailed installation, however well-intentioned, will underperform no matter how thick the product is. We detail every job to minimise thermal bridging and control condensation risk, which in older County Westmeath properties is one of the most common problems we come across.
