Wexford Insulation
Wexford Insulation
How it started for us
A neighbour’s attic, a cold January, that’s where it began.
We’d gone in to do a straightforward attic insulation top-up, and what we found up there told the whole story of why so many homes in Wexford were haemorrhaging heat. That one job set the tone for everything we’ve done since.
What we do
We cover the full picture when it comes to keeping your home warm and dry, from the walls in to the roof above you.
- External and cavity wall insulation, including pumped bead systems
- Attic, loft, and rafter insulation
- Open and closed cell spray foam
- Internal wall insulation and dry lining
- Underfloor insulation and pipe lagging
- Draught proofing and air sealing
- Damp and condensation control
- SEAI grant assistance and BER improvements
Where we work
We’re based in Wexford and know this county well, from the older terraces near Wexford Town itself to the houses out past Johnstown Castle and along the roads towards Curracloe.
The conditions here (the salt air, the damp winters) mean the work has to be done properly or you’ll be back doing it again in five years. We use materials that suit this climate, not just whatever’s cheapest on the day.
The honest bit
I won’t pretend every job is glamorous. Crawling under floors at half seven in the morning isn’t anyone’s idea of a great morning out. However, when a family tells us their heating bills have dropped and the house finally feels warm, that matters to us more than anything.
We help people navigate the SEAI grant process too, because it’s confusing enough to put most people off entirely, and that’d be a shame.
Give us a call on 087 391 1659, we work right across Wexford, Ireland, and we’re always happy to talk through what your home actually needs. See more from Wexford Insulation.
