Something’s not right

Maybe the rear wall is cracking. Maybe the extension never got finished. Maybe you bought a house near Wicklow Head that needs serious work before it’s liveable. We fix that. We build from the ground up and we sort out the jobs that have gone wrong.

We’re based in Wicklow Town and we cover the surrounding areas, including out past Rathnew and down toward Brittas Bay. We know the ground conditions here, the soil types, the drainage quirks. That matters when you’re doing groundworks and foundations properly.

How we work

Solid materials. We use what lasts, not what looks good in a brochure and fails in five years. Blockwork is done right, courses level, mortar consistent. And when we’re doing external rendering, we use K Rend on the finish coat where it’s called for. It’s breathable, it bonds properly, and it holds colour in the Irish climate far better than cheaper alternatives. Not glamorous, but it works.

Plastering and internal finishes get the same attention. A good set takes time to do correctly. Rushing it shows. We don’t rush it.

Extensions and structural work

Most of our jobs around Wicklow Town are extensions and renovations on older houses, the kind where the existing structure needs to be properly assessed before anything new is tied in. We do that assessment ourselves. We don’t subcontract the thinking.

Structural alterations, removing load-bearing walls, underpinning, changing the layout of a ground floor, we handle all of it.
