Wet ground tells you everything

Rain does the talking here. After a proper downpour you can see exactly where a driveway is failing, where water is sitting, where the sub-base has shifted. That is what I look at first on every job.

What we lay

Every surface has its place depending on the property, the budget, and what the ground underneath is actually doing.

• Block paving, flexible and long-lasting when it is laid right
• Resin bound, clean finish, fully permeable
• Tarmac, hard-wearing and straightforward
• Pattern imprinted concrete, good kerb appeal for the right house
• Gravel, low cost and drains well

Before any of that goes down, the sub-base preparation and compaction matters more than the surface itself. A cheap finish on a poor base will move. We do not cut corners there.

Repairs and resurfacing

Not every job is a full replacement. Potholes, cracking, sunken edges, we handle repairs as well. Sealing a faded block paved drive, re-laying a dropped kerb, sorting drainage that is pulling water toward the house. Practical work. Keeps costs down. (Sometimes a repair makes far more sense than ripping the whole thing up.)

Patios and pathways

We lay patios too. Porcelain, natural stone, concrete flags. The same rules apply on sub-base and falls. Water has to go somewhere.
