Guttering installation and repair, Lucan, County Dublin

Gutters matter. Most people don’t think about them until water is running down the front wall or pooling along the foundation. I’ve been fixing that kind of damage across west Dublin for years, and the same faults come up time and again.

What we do

We cover the full scope of rainwater management and roofline work. That includes:

  • New gutter installation and full replacements in uPVC, aluminium, and cast iron
  • Seamless aluminium gutters, formed as continuous cast-on-site rainwater channels that eliminate joints and reduce leak risk
  • Half-round, ogee, and square-line profiles to suit the property
  • Downpipe repair, replacement, and hopper head work
  • Soffit and fascia replacement in uPVC
  • Leaf guards and gutter mesh fitted to keep debris out
  • Re-aligning gutters and correcting bracket spacing for proper fall
  • Connection to existing soakaways and gullies

We source materials from Chadwicks and keep the quality consistent across every job, regardless of size.

Signs your gutters probably need replacing

Worth knowing before you call anyone out. These are the things I see most often:

  1. Cracks or splits along the gutter run, even small ones
  2. Paint peeling or damp patches on the fascia board directly beneath the gutter
  3. Gutters pulling away from the roofline or sitting at a visible tilt
  4. Water spilling over the front edge during rain rather than flowing to the downpipe
  5. Rust staining or orange streaks on the wall below cast iron gutters

Fascia, soffit, and roofline work

A lot of gutter problems actually start with failed fascia or soffit boards. The fascia board carries the gutter bracket load, so if it’s rotten, the whole run becomes unreliable. We replace both in uPVC, it’s low maintenance and holds up well in the Irish climate.
