A bit of background

A customer once told me the hardest part was finding someone who’d actually show up. We heard that more times than I’d like to admit when we were starting out, so it shaped everything about how we run things now. Hythe Builders is rooted right here in Hythe, CT21, and the surrounding area.

What we take on

We cover a broad range of building work, from early groundworks right through to the finishing coat of render on a new extension. A new garage is one of the jobs we get called about regularly, and it’s one we genuinely enjoy getting right, from the foundations up.

How we work

We’ve built up a lot of our work through word of mouth, across Hythe itself, out towards Folkestone, and down along the coast to Dymchurch. People round here talk, and (I’ll be honest) that keeps us on our toes in the best way. We’d rather do one job properly than rush three.

The detail matters

Brickwork needs to be bonded right, foundations need to sit on properly prepared ground, and render only looks good if the wall behind it has been sorted first. We’ve seen enough shortcuts taken by others to know they always cost someone more in the end. However good a finish looks on day one, it’s how it holds up in five years that counts.
