Portrane Guttering

Guttering installation and repair across North County Dublin

From the roofline down to the gully, every part of a rainwater system has to work together, and that is where we focus every job we take on.

What we do

We handle the full scope of guttering work, from new installations to repairs, fascia and soffit replacement, and roofline finishing. Here is what that covers in practice:

  • uPVC, aluminium seamless, and cast iron gutters and downpipes
  • Half-round, ogee, and square-line profiles
  • Soffit and fascia board replacement in uPVC
  • Leaf guards and gutter mesh fitted to existing or new runs
  • Hopper heads, rainwater diverters, and water butt connections
  • Re-aligning gutters and correcting fall using proper bracket re-spacing

How we work

On most jobs I use a concealed gutter bracket fixing system where the profile allows it, which gives a cleaner finish along the fascia line and reduces the number of exposed fixings that can work loose over time. It is a detail that makes a difference, especially on properties where the roofline is visible from the front.

We cover North County Dublin and the surrounding area. If you are near Skerries, Malahide, or out towards the Fingal GAA grounds where St Vincent’s train, you are well within the area we regularly work in. Honestly, no job is too straightforward for us to take seriously.

How long does a full gutter replacement take?

For a standard semi-detached house, a full gutter and downpipe replacement (including removing the old run and connecting to the existing gully) takes most of a day. Larger detached properties or jobs that include fascia and soffit boards will typically run to two days. We always confirm timings before we start.
